ArtWalkRavenswood—an inside look into working artists’ spaces; demonstrations of craft; free theater and dance performances; puppet shows; and more—will take place Oct. 7-8 from 12-5 p.m. along the Ravenswood industrial corridor from Foster to Roscoe. Hours may vary by venue.
An opening reception will be held Oct. 6 at The Peter Jones Gallery, 1806 W. Cuyler, 2nd Floor, 6-11 p.m. There, Phil Ponce, host of WTTW’s Chicago Tonight, will present awards to three people selected by the ArtWalkRavenswood committee for their significant and demonstrable contributions to sustain the arts in the Ravenswood neighborhood.
