Hubbard Street Dance Chicago (HSDC) has announced that Executive Director Gail Kalver will step down from her position during the 2006–’07 season. ‘After devoting nearly 23 years to Hubbard Street, this feels like the right time for me to embark upon a new adventure,’ she stated in a press release.
Kalver will serve as an advisor to the Executive Committee of HSDC’s board of directors, who will lead the search for her successor. She will remain in her position during the search to ensure a smooth transition.
