Parents, Families, and Friends of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG) will hold its Midwest Tri-Regional Conference on Nov. 3-4 at the Hilton Chicago, 720 S. Michigan.
Attendees will have the opportunity to take part in various workshops and plenaries. Among those being held are Current Health Issues in the GLBT Community, with Howard Brown Health Center’s Dr. Rob Garofalo; GLBTQ Youth Homelessness: A Crisis in Our Families & Communities; Getting Comprehensive Sex Ed into Our Schools, with PFLAG’s Jonathan Stacks; and Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell in 2006, with former Air Force Master Sergeant and Windy City Times Director of New Media Jean Albright.
