One of America’s most progressive directors, Anne Bogart brings her SITI Company to Court Theatre to show off her latest collaboration with progressive author Charles L. Mee. Hotel Cassiopeia is their highly visual and physical 90-minute work that uses live theater to interpret the artistic style and spirit of noted American visual collage artist Joseph Cornell, who created wooden boxes stuffed with life’s effluvia. The theater piece is a collage, too, as Mee and Bogart eschew linear narrative, real time or a character-driven story. Audiences probably either will love or hate Hotel Cassiopeia, through Dec. 10 at Court Theatre, 5555 S. Ellis; 773-753-4472; $28-$54.
