Well, another year has come to a close. I look back on 2006 at so many accomplishments. I had my column published every week and found a permanent home on the back page of Nightspots magazine.
This all began as an experiment and has grown into a job—and a lot of fun. I have been able to meet porn stars, grow a huge video collection, and have people come up to me on the street and say they read my column every week. How lucky is that?
I actually sit down with my friends in my living room and watch porn and write down our comments. They are all real people–I started making up the code names because one of my friends worked with the mayor and did not want to be known. I want to thank all my collaborators for their commentaries this past year. I have reviewed with a straight girl, lesbians, gays and a porn star (watching his own scene)! Everyone is talented in his/her own way.
The whole ‘Judging a Porn by Its Cover’ thing came from the fact that when a person picks out a video, it’s all about the cover. The surprise is that when you get it home it might not do anything for you.
I hear from adult stores that people even come in with my articles and request the video. So, I hope my thumbs up the butt have proved valuable and I look forward to more porn adventures in 2007!
