The All-Night Strut, Marriott Theatre in Lincolnshire, through Feb. 11. This production features old familiar songs mostly of the 1930s and 1940s sung to the rafters in new, often-surprising ways, as well as kick-ass dancing by a fiery ensemble spoiled by five choreographers. JA

The Real Thing, Remy Bumppo at Victory Gardens Greenhouse, through Jan.7. Do Nick Sandys and Linda Gillum replicate their Tartuffe chemistry in Tom Stoppard’s love tale of brainy retro-pop music-loving artists? Does Mrs. Brown have a lovely daughter? MSB

The Snow Queen, Victory Gardens at the Biograph, through Jan.7. This too-many-cooks adaptation of Hans Christian Andersen’s story takes a while to ignite, but once Michael Smith and his band open up the throttle, you’ll be glad you stayed. MSB

The Three Musketeers, Chicago Shakespeare Theater, through Feb. 18. A virile cast buckles its swash in this big, musical version of the Dumas tale. The three Brit co-authors have reworked the show on-and-off for 10 years. Perhaps they’ve gotten it right this time. JA
