George (aka graysong) was born in Charleston, S.C., in 1964. He currently writes WorldWideWeird for Nightspots. He also takes the It’s 2AM. Where in the Hell Am I Photos?!, is responsible for an occasional cover, and does whatever other light-lifting Nightspots Editor Kirk Williamson requests. He lives in Andersonville with his husband Lee and three cats John Wilkes Booth, Jefferson Davis and Frederick Douglas. George is sure he is being targeted by several government agencies, which is why the auto-ticketing light at Western and Peterson always turns yellow when he is 15 feet from the intersection and can’t stop safely. He might start doing g-spot cartoons again, but I wouldn’t hold my breath. He loves Bunny Oolong—and he hates having his picture taken.
