The award-winning independent feature film On the Downlow—filmed locally—is now out on DVD.

The movie, directed by Tadeo Garcia, was filmed in Chicago’s Little Village and Pilsen neighborhoods. The film centers on two members of rival gangs who start a romantic relationship, making it an urban gay Romeo and Juliet.

The movie has been shown in more than 30 national and international film festivals, and has won several awards. It is available on several Web sites, including Amazon, Blockbuster, TLA Video and Netflix.
