Me and the Mona Lisa at the new Cocktail. pix by Shyana

Remember that whole soapbox speech about the fond memories of Clark’s on Clark and how that was all that was left? Well, it turns out we’ve all been punk’d by circumstance. After the outpouring of community support (and this is pure conjecture), Clark’s has been able to renew their lease, albeit on a month-to-month. So stand by for further developments.

Hi to Julia and Jamie at Encompass. I drove out expecting to get in and out, but goddamn it if I didn’t end up having fun. And having young Blake grind his gorgeous head of hair between my spread legs only served to sweeten the pot. Congrats to Lou and all who worked so hard to make ‘3s are Wild’ weekend a success!

And in the interest of putting 120 miles on my car in the same night, the next stop was Nutbush to celebrate the anniversaries of Mikie and Brian. Talking to Andre, this nice gentleman I met, Mikie has changed quite a bit. He was quite the skinny young thing with a mane of curly hair and a chest bush to match. Let’s just say he’s ‘matured.’ Like a fine aged cheese.

Stop into Sofo on Tuesdays, where Ron gives you the first taste free and the funk flows all night. We cut quite a rug. A drunken me booty dancing to Soul Train. It’s a good thing.

Last but not least, you must see the new Cocktail! Geno really pulled it off and has given us the utmost in style and class. And the bartenders are as lickable as ever.
