With various shows touring North America and Europe, and with three shows permanently installed in Las Vegas, Cirque de Soleil not only is a phenomenon that has revitalized circus arts, but it’s also an octopus of live entertainment with tentacles everywhere. The latest arm to suck you up (and not a little money) is Delirium, a live arena event featuring a remix of 20 Cirque de Soleil musical selections performed by singers, dancers, aerialists and musicians with a multimedia assist across 300 feet of projection screens. The music is in Cirque’s familiar, eclectic global-pop blend, but with new English lyrics to help tell a story. Delirium plays Feb. 17-19 only; United Center; 312-455-4500: $39.50-$125.
