On Feb. 23, at 7:30 p.m., Cerqua Rivera Dance Theatre will present ‘Stones of Hope,’ a unique collaboration of contemporary dance and live music choreographed to works of African-American icons. (Earlier matinees are sold out.)
The event will take place at the Columbia College Music Department, 1014 S. Michigan. The ‘Stones of Hope’ performance is a component of the department’s African American Heritage Festival.
