Congregation Or Chadash, a Chicago-area LGBT jewish organization, held its annual gala and awards dinner Feb. 17 at the East Bank Club, 500 N. Kingsbury. Norman Sandfield (bottom picture, right) presented the congregation with a $10,000 check, the second installment of a matching grant that he established last year in honor of the congregation’s 30th anniversary.
