Can it be? Is winter finally over? Well, knowing this wacky town, by the time this hits the streets we’ll be in the deep freeze again. What fond memories we’ll have, then, of this past weekend’s 80 degree extravaganza! What to do with all this warmth?

You can pull on your skimpiest, shortiest shorts and hit Hollywood Beach. Oh, the sheer, unabashed shirtlessness of it all.

You can visit the rooftop deck at Sidetrack, where the drinks are slushy and the boys will be soon enough. Who did I see pre-cocktailing for her show at Mary’s? Who knew a principal ingredient in Apple Brown Betty was Mai Tai?

You can grill out with the boys of Bucks. Hot meat!

You can settle in for some pub grub at Crew. Sporty spice!

Either way, let this issue be a kick start to your spectacular summer.

And with summer coming, it’s time to show yourself off again. Take some tips from our new fashion section, Street Chic. Richard Dayhoff brings us his eye for detail the first issue of each month.

Truth be told, I was only available at the last minute to take pictures. My beloved grandmother, Stephanie Quattrochi passed away this last week after a long, slow decline. This was a woman who single-handedly ripped up and rebuilt the kitchen floor when she was 70, just because it needed to be done. I often say (and I mean it with ALL sincerity) that everything I’ve learned about being a man I learned from her. I might not have had the strength to get this issue out but for the dedication and discipline she taught me. Thanks, grandma.
