Dakota, Nightspots’ very own bear mascot didn’t know that this picture would wind up on the cover. I shot it for use in Nightspots’ ad in the Bear Pride XIII run book. I figured this way I could herald the approach of the bears, while simultaneously giving his titty the exposure it deserves.
I’m fairly obsessed with the short video of the new bound-to-be-smash hit ‘Mad At the Dirt’ by The Joans. If you haven’t heard, The Joans are an all Joan Crawford rock band that debuted at Jackhammer’s Flesh Hungry Dog show last week. There are times when I just want to lay down and die because I can’t imagine life could get any more absurd. This is one of those moments. Are you ready for next week? Summer’s official onset brings us yet another phenomenal International Mr. Leather weekend, as well as the aforementioned Bear Pride. I think there’s some rubber going on, too. Pardon if this issue is a bit light; the lion’s share of my efforts have been redirected into next week’s issue. And wait ’til you see why!
