The local annual event known as International Mr. Leather (IML) took place May 24-28, with the Palmer House Hilton serving as the host hotel. Actor-comedian Hal Sparks was the headline entertainer at this year’s contest at The Chicago Theatre. Mikel Gerle (above, right) won the title of International Mr. Leather 2007, while Rob Grant was first runner-up and Bill Hoeppner was second runner-up. Spot won the honor of being International Bootblack 2007.
