As part of its expanding mental health program, Center on Halsted has named Karen Rothstein-Pineda, LPC, as Latino services coordinator.
Formerly the program’s client services coordinator, Rothstein-Pineda will serve as the liaison to Chicago’s Latino/Latina LGBT community, including ALMA (Association of Latino Men for Action) and Amigas Latinas. She will also develop and implement culturally competent mental health programming for the LGBT Latino/Latina community, including services in Spanish.
