_______
I could just as easily cop out this week with my ‘a picture is worth 1,000 words’ excuse, but that will not be the case.
Although, as I said, look at these shots and tell me it’s not apropos.
InnExile on Friday night was a mad house for their 20th anniversary weekend kickoff. Just a sea of sexy. As I stated last week, strippers are a lot more, shall we say, participatory when you get ’em off the main drag. And as can plainly be seen by the picture below, I ain’t just whistling Dixie. Actually, given my glottal activity, I wasn’t whistling much of anything.
Long story short, great job guys! We’re so proud to have had you rocking the South Side for two decades now!
Saturday night at Touché was my chance to help torture an unsuspecting leather man as we dudded him up all cowboy-like in the Cowboy Eye For the Leather Guy contest. Whereas the title might seem a bit dated, the contest was no less fun as it ever has been. The crowd really seemed to cotton to the winner. Joe. I reckon’.
While I’m on the topic, I will be grand marshalling the Windy?City Rodeo this year and Alcala’s Western Wear (co-sponsor of the Touché event) has agreed to outfit me with my cowboy wear. Hats off to them.
Christina, bring me the axe! I’ll need it to get through the crowds at Jackhammer this Friday night for The Flesh Hungry Dog Show, featuring a rare performance by local band The Joans, who grace our cover this week. Not their first time at the rodeo, I surmise.
Finally this week, The Windy?City Empire gleefully reports that Fabby’s 5th Annual Stiletto Challenge has raised over $1700 for the Reign Charities with more pledges still coming in. With Fabby’s passing, this year her three sisters (biological) walked the parade route to honor her memory. She’s smilin’ down us, all right!
