Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Christopher Dodd has withdrawn from participating in the LGBT presidential forum, according to a notice posted on the Logo Web site on Aug. 3.
‘The official word from Dodd’s press office is that the Senator has withdrawn from the forum due to scheduling conflicts.’
Sen. Joe Biden had earlier announced that a scheduling conflict prevented him from accepting the invitation to participate.
The remaining contenders include Hillary Clinton, John Edwards, Mike Gravel, Dennis Kucinich, Barack Obama and Bill Richardson.
