Hubbard Street 2 (HS2), the second company of Hubbard Street Dance Chicago (HSDC), is presenting a series of free community performances, workshops and master classes throughout Chicago’s neighborhoods to celebrate its 10th season.
Remaining events will take place at Lou Conte Dance Studio, 1147 W. Jackson, on Sept. 8 (Amy Raymond Master Class) and Harold Washington Library, 400 S. State, on Nov. 1 (Dance Informance). Dance Informances feature excerpts from the company’s repertoire as well as an opportunity to interact with the dancers. The master classes will be led by two of HS2’s National Choreographic Competition winners, Janice Lancaster and Amy Raymond.
