Cazwell at Berlin wsa perfectly lickable. No, not from first tongue experience, but one can only imagine. A special hello to young Justin Boltz who did a bang-up job as one of the many hosts of the evening. I told you that shot wouldn’t leave you laying on the floor. Well, I did leave earlier than him, so I’m waiting for the rest of THAT story.
Another special hello to David Boyer from Touché. We sat and had quite a lengthy conversation about Chicago’s rich and storied gay history. Of course, periodically we broke from the gravity of the conversation to be propositioned sexually by a cadre of leather-clad bears, but that’s all part of the history in making.
I noticed Creaoke is no longer at Charlie’s. I’m sure this story is just beginning to unfold. You could almost say that it’s the dawn of the story. Read between THOSE lines.
Congrats to TeriYaki, who told me at Hydrate that her and Ray have kicked the smoking habit. Seems to be the way the wind is blowing these days. Anyway, looking at some of the Free Press’s Pressie nominations, she was as befuddled as I when we noticed that she wasn’t nominated and… well, we’ll just leave it at that.
Speaking of which, don’t forget to log on to ChicagoFreePress.com and vote for Nightspots as your favorite local magazine. Wouldn’t that be a coup. I wonder who’ll win for best newspaper.
Maybe we’ll start our own contest. The Spotsies or something. We’ll need some time on this one.
