With beats that pulsate through time from ancient Egypt, Nitro’s ‘Valley of the Kings (and Queens)’ party was a thumping success. Mike really knows what the hell he’s doing, and that includes knowing to hire the people he has who have helped to make Nitro a one-of-a-kind über-party. Kudos.

Always a pleasure to see Jim at The Eagle. For my money (not that I’ve ever paid him) he’s about the sweetest guy this side of a foreman at a sugar factory. Busy as he was watering the bears, we had a chance to discuss matters of serious sociopolitical import. And he got me drunk. What more could you ask for?

Here’s what–Hunters turns 25 starting this weekend. Check them out Sunday for a kickoff party. Then catch the Mr. Hunters pageant (or ‘mangeant,’ in the parlance of New York) on Tuesday. See the ad on page 7 for a full, fantastic itinerary.

A hardy congrats to Test Positive Aware Network for raising $135,000 with their 20th annaul Aware Affair last month. I knew the gays had money, but this is ridiculous. Thanks for all your hard work, guys!

And so I’m off to Berlin. If you are wondering why I didn’t bold the name of Berlin, it’s because I mean the spectacular world city and not the bar. Eight straight, um… not straight days of raw German debauchery. Just wait until you see next week’s column!
