The Association of Latino Men for Action (ALMA) held its second annual fashion extravaganza, ‘Runway ALMA,’ Oct. 12 at Germania Place, 108 W. Germania—and the event was a treat for the eyes as attendees watched models strut in creations by Latino/a designers James De Colón, Carla S. Rivera and Horacio Nieto. (There were also treats for the palate as servers walked around with various hors d’oeuvres.) Guests also saw ALMA honor NBC-5 reporter Alex Perez and model/TV personality J.P. Calderon (in photo directly above) —and Calderon even walked the runway himself.
