There’s no shame in Scarlet, Halsted’s new nightspot. Filling the former Gentry on Halsted space, Scarlet is brighter, breezier and a fresh take on the cocktail lounge scene. I just happened to be lucky enough to be strolling by during their invite-only construction party. Still a finishing touch or two to be touched up, but by the time it opens this Thursday night, November 15, all we be ready for your eager livers. Hi to Paul and Jeff and the whole staff. Welcome to the neighborhood!
