The Youth Pride Center (YPC) and the Frankie Foundation recently announced that it will produce a new line of condoms in hopes of targeting young MSM of color.
According to a press release from the organization, YPC’s director Frank Walker said, ‘We wanted to create buzz among youth to get them talking about condoms again in a nontraditional way.
‘Hopefully the curiosity and novelty of this new line of condoms will get youth to start talking about them in a new way.’
The line, which will launch mid-January, will be designed by youth. The condoms will be available for free at YPC, and online at the YPC and Frankie Foundation Web sites. See www.youthpridecenter.org.
