This award-winning and critically acclaimed comedy is written, directed and stars up-and-coming filmmaker Ash Christian, who filmed Fat Girls at the age of 20. Fat Girls is a coming-of-age story focusing on the trials and tribulations of Rodney Miller (Christian), a gay, theater-obsessed high school senior in small-town Texas who has his heart set on Broadway and love. With the help of his overweight best friend and fellow outcast Sabrina (Ashley Fink), the pair goes on a journey of self-discovery.
