As part of its activities celebrating Black History Month, Center on Halsted will present ‘OUTside the Northside: Three Perspectives of Chicago African-American LGBT Artists’ beginning Feb 1. The exhibit, which runs through Feb. 29 in the Center’s second-floor gallery space at 3656 N. Halsted, will feature the works of Bill Hill, Juarez Hawkins and travis.
The exhibit’s opening night, Feb. 1, begins with a reception at 6 p.m. The artists will be present at 7 p.m. to greet viewers and discuss their work. Admission is $20 and includes the reception.
