Steve Mange, senior policy advisor for Attorney General Lisa Madigan, is the new executive director of the Illinois Meth Project.
The Illinois Meth Project is a large-scale crystal meth prevention program. The program’s campaign is currently focused on the Springfield-Decatur-Champaign area, but its goal is to expand to other areas of the state.
In an e-mail sent to many members of the community, Mange wrote, ‘In the months and years to come, I look forward to working with you toward our common goals of eradicating the meth problem in Illinois, putting an end to the cruel and senseless suffering meth has inflicted on so many lives, and building strong, healthy, thriving communities across the state.’
