Girlie-Q Productions will present ‘Almost Paradise, A Very Queer Prom’ Sat., June 28, at The Spot, 4437 N. Broadway. Doors open at 9 p.m.
The event will feature, among other highlights, live music by Congress of Starlings (featuring Andrea Bunch & Aerin Tedesco) and Bric-A-Brac; burlesque performances by some of Chicago’s hottest queer burlesque talent; the crowning of a prom ‘king’ and ‘queen’; and a mailbox game for singles. Prom attire is requested.
Tickets are $15 each at the door, and $5 from each sale will go to Beyondmedia Education.
