—Prenuptial agreements are not just for heterosexual couples. According to GFN.com, same-sex couples need domestic-partnership contracts even more than their opposite-sex counterparts; the division of assets can be tricky, especially since almost every state lacks judicial protection regarding such matters (for gay couples). The contract should cover everything from asset division to health-care decisions.
—The OUT Traveler has come out with its list of the top gay-friendly hotel companies. Kimpton Hotels came in at number one—partially because of the face that it has scored a perfect 100 in the Human Rights Campaign’s Equality Index for four consecutive years. Other companies making the list include W Hotels, Hyatt, Red Carnation and Joie de Vivre.
