Cerqua Rivera Dance Theatre recently held ‘Dancing Under the Stars,’—a 10th-anniversary benefit cruise—on Lake Michigan. Attendees enjoyed a buffet dinner, dancing, an architectural tour and a live auction, and ended with viewing fireworks on the lake. The company—which composer Joe Cerqua, choreographer Wilfredo Rivera and painter/muralist Matt Lamb incorporated in 1998—employs 40-50 locally based artists each season. Photos by Steve Starr
