Janis Ian to perform
Folk legend and lesbian singer/songwriter Janis Ian will perform at the Old Town School of Folk Music in August.
Ian will perform at Old Town School of Folk Music’s Gary and Laura Maurer Concert Hall, 4544 N. Lincoln Ave., on Fri., Aug. 8, at 8 p.m. Tickets are $21-$25.
Ian, known for her classic folk song ‘At Seventeen,’ recently penned a memoir, Society’s Child.
