Lawyers for Diversity hosted its Fourth Annual
Lawyers for Diversity Mid-Summer Barbecue July
31 at Sidetrack, 3349 N. Halsted. Among those
attending were Cook County State’s Attorney
Democratic candidate Anita Alvarez (pictured
with Lesbian and Gay Bar Association of Chicago
President Jeremy Gottschalk). During the event,
Jenner & Block was acknowledged for being the
only law firm that has signed on to publicly support
HB 1826, the civil-union bill.
