The Femme Collective is bringing an international conference celebrating queer femininities,’Femme 2008: The Architecture of Femme,’ to Chicago Aug. 15-17.
The three-day conference, which includes keynote speakers, workshops, panels, performances and more, will feature author Dorothy Allison, trans spoken word artist and activist Julia Serrano, performance artist Veronica Combs, Tara Hardy, Ms. Cherry Gallette and many more. Registration is $75 through July 15 and $95 for late registration.
