In honor of Jane Addams’ birthday, the Jane Addams Hull House Association will be celebrating her legacy at the Jane Addams Memorial Park, 550 E. Grand, on Saturday, Sept. 6, 10 a.m.-12 p.m.
Jane Addams Hull House Association will be observing Addams’ birthday throughout the Memorial Park by distributing information and special treats to neighborhood locals. Ferrara Pan Candy Company, celebrating its 100th birthday, is donating candy to help in the day’s festivities.
