Several local Universal Fellowship of Metropolitan Community Churches (MCC) congregations will gather for a joint celebration and picnic on Saturday, Oct. 4.
Chicago’s aChurch4Me? will hold another celebration on Sunday, Oct. 5, at 11 a.m., at the Center on Halsted, 3656 N. Halsted St. The following day, aChurch4Me? will join the MCC as a fully chartered church, according a press release. An event has been planed for Oct. 6 at 7 p.m.
