What’s scarier? Is it director John Carpenter’s 1978 horror film classic Halloween, or the tragic demise of singer Karen Carpenter of the Carpenters? Well, Scott Bradley and Jonny Stax (a.k.a Scooty & JoJo) feel a little of both is the correct answer. See the two combined in their hit revival of Carpenters Halloween, now extended past Election Day. Carpenters Halloween plays 8 p.m. Tuesdays through Thursdays until Nov. 5 at Mary’s Attic, 5400 N. Clark. Tickets are $15. Call 773-769-1429 or visit www.brownpapertickets.com. Photo by Jennifer Bisbing
