Better Existence with HIV (BEHIV) will participate in multiple events to commemorate World AIDS Day on Monday, Dec. 1.
BEHIV is partnering with Battaglia Shoes, 70 E. Walton, which will donate a portion of its sales that day to the organization. In addition, HIV education events will take place at Noble/Golder Charter High School; Wells High School; Bright Star Church of God in Christ; and Waukegan’s First Congregation United Church of Christ. Lastly, HIV/STI testing will take place at BEHIV’s office, 1244 W. Thorndale.
