Back in the day, every pop-culture sensation had its own TV holiday special (Star Wars and Pac-Man, anyone?). Inexplicably, glam pansexual rocker David Bowie never had one. Thankfully, the New Millennium Theatre Company has righted this wrong with The David Bowie Hepzikat Funky Velvet Flarney Solstice Spectacular, Live… From Space! See guests like Mick Jagger, Marianne Faithfull, Iggy Pop and Charo. The David Bowie … plays 10:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays through Dec. 27 at the National Pastime Theater, 4139 N. Broadway. Tickets are $15. 312-458-9083 or nmtchicago.org.Photo courtesy of New Millennium Theatre Company
