Leatherman Mark Austin, a former International Mr. Leather (IML) finalist, and Mistress Joanne Gaddy, retired mistress of IML, are teaching “Leather 101,” a four-week course at Center on Halsted, 3656 N. Halsted. The remaining classes in the series—which will be on Wednesdays through May 13—will cover such topics as Stonewall and the first leather competitions; the impact of HIV/AIDS on the leather community; and hanky codes.
