The Joel Hall Dancers and Center held an exciting reception June 5 to celebrate their large new studios at 5965 N. Clark. The rooms, whose walls displayed numerous works of art based on dance, were filled with hundreds of people who came to support Chicago icon Joel Hall and his magnificent works, and a ribbon cutting ceremony was attended by U.S. Congressman Mike Quigley. Hall’s partner, board member Craig Davis, hosted the event and ushered guests into the main dance studio to be entertained by new performances choreographed by dancer Dmitri Peskov and Paul Sanasardo.
