The 16th SOFA (Sculpture Objects & Functional Art) CHICAGO fair took place at Navy Pier’s Festival Hall, 600 E. Grand, Nov. 6-8. The event featured masterworks from 68 top international galleries and dealers, five special exhibits by famed museums and 32 lecture series presentations. Among the local businesses present were Perimeter Gallery, Ann Nathan Gallery, Jean Albano Gallery and the Ken Saunders Gallery—and among the attendees were lesbian comedian Jessica Halem and her father, famed glass artist Henry Halem.
