World of Chocolate, the AIDS Foundation of Chicago’s (AFC’s) annual holiday fundraising event held in commemoration of World AIDS Day, will take place Thursday, Dec. 3, at the Hilton Chicago, 720 S. Chicago, 6-10 p.m.
Guests will sample chocolate creations from more than 30 of Chicagoland’s finest restaurants, caterers and chocolatiers. There will also be live entertainment and the holiday bazaar.
An added dimension this year will be the Chocolate Bliss Recipe Challenge, in which guests can submit their own original chocolate recipes for consideration. The winner will receive, among other things, the first-ever Amateur Chocolate Recipe Award title and complimentary tickets to next year’s event.
