Local attorney Joanne Fehn is hosting a event, “Holiday Cheer to the Face of a Child,” Sunday, Dec. 13, 1-3 p.m., at La Villa Restaurant, 3632 N. Pulaski.
The event will benefit local charities that cater to families’ needs. Attendees are encouraged to bring unwrapped toys for children, gift cards and monetary donations. La Villa is accepting donations through Tuesday, Dec. 15.
Organizations that will benefit include Women’s Center (www.womens-center.org), Tabitha House (www.TabithaHousecs.org), Kolbe House (www.KolbeHouseMinistry.org), Wings (wings@wingsprogram.com), New Moms (www.NewMomsInc.org), Casa Central (www.CasaCentral.org) and Austin Peoples Action Center.
Fehn is a Cook County Circuit Court Judge candidate for the Vacancy of the Honorable Daniel J. Kelley.
