Jeff Torres, a member of the National Leadership Council of Lambda Legal’s Defense and Education Fund, has joined the Chicago Office of Lathrop & Gage.
Lambda Legal is the oldest national organization pursuing high-impact litigation, public education and advocacy on behalf of equality and civil rights for the LGBT and HIV communities.
Torres has held leadership roles in the Houston-based Institute for Energy Law and the Chicago Bar Association’s Energy and Communications Law Committee. While a partner at the law firm of McGuireWoods, Mr. Torres was a member of the firm’s Diversity Committee and co-chair of the Chicago office’s pro bono program.
