At the Washington Park Refectory, 5531 S. King, participants burned the past year’s negative issues/concerns and challenges and wrote down goals, thoughts and hopes for the future. The note will be mailed to them six months from now. The atmosphere was of inclusivity, friendship, strength, hope and faith of all kinds.
