The Chicago Foundation for Women is honoring 25 Chicagoans with Impact Awards to mark the agency’s 25th anniversary of providing funding for projects impacting women and girls.

“Join Chicago Foundation for Women as we celebrate 25 years of making a difference in the lives of women and girls and recognize 25 visionary women and men whose leadership and achievements are improving their Chicago-area neighborhood, community or workplace,” the group stated.

Among the honorees are Windy City Times co-founder and Publisher Tracy Baim and other prominent LGBT activists including Jane Saks and Terry Cosgrove.

The 2010 Impact Awards will be Wed., March 24 at the Chicago Cultural Center, 70 E. Washington. Tickets are $25 for students, $50 general admission and $100 for patrons.
