Happy anniversary to Spin, who is now out of the red. The red walls, that is. You have, no doubt, delighted in the red-walled goodness. Well, now their goodness is kind off yellowish. I’m not sure. It was kind of dark and I had had a few celebratory cocktails so my color assessment may be a bit askew. Stop by the freshly painted Spin and see how the color strikes you.

Moderately-sized ups to my friend Renegade DJ. He was working overtime at

@mosphere and Archie’s Tavern this past week. Have you been out to Archie’s at 2600 W. Iowa? It’s hipster heaven and a half. I enjoyed a game of Boggle with Mark. Word games in a bar–a duet of pleasures. Renegade was spinning there for the re-launch of Lift! They also have QSC, or Queer Social Club, every Sunday. They pack the joint, too. It’s the newest, coolest thing and you are powerless to resist.

Sorry, I slipped into hypnotist mode there for a sec. Must be the utter, crippling fatigue.
