If it’s Memorial Day weekend, that means International Mr. Leather (IML) as hundreds of leathermen and leatherwomen from around the world descended upon the Hyatt Regency Hotel. The IML market, sundry parties and Mr. IML 2010 contest were among the many highlights, with transman Tyler McCormick (Mr. Rio Grande Leather) taking top honors at the May 30 competition. (In addition, Tim Starkey of the Boston Ramrod was named Mr. International Bootblack.)
