Guest: Sara Kerastas, Education Director of About Face Youth Theatre joins Amy on the Queercast to talk Queertopia! Sara shares the origins of the LGBTQ youth program at About Face, the diversity of the youth performers, who comes to the shows and some of the topics covered in the shows. Queertopia: The Anti-Violence Project, running July 15th thru the 25th at the Center on Halsted, is based on true stories and a youth driven project. It investigates violence within and against the LGBTQA communities in America, while imagining and performing a future just beyond our grasp.
