Jason Andrews, 27, known to many Chicago partygoers as DJ Veritas, is facing first-degree murder charges for the slaying of a Florida man.

According to a report in the New York Daily News, Dennis Abrahamsen was found covered in blood on his massage table the morning after a May 15 sex party at which Andrews girlfriend, Amanda Logue, was hired to work. The report cites text messages between Logue and Andrews planning to kill the Tampa-area tattoo artist. Andrews and Logue allegedly stabbed Abrahamsen, beat him with a sledge hammer, and then stole $6,000 and credit cards.

Both Logue and Andrews worked in the porn industry. The couple had spent the weeks leading up to the murder hanging out at the beach and shooting porn films. Their Twitter accounts detail days of partying, taking pictures, and watching movies together.

On May 16, the day after Abrahamsen’s murder, Andrews used Twitter to ask for movie recommendations from friends. Five days later, in his last Twitter post, he pleaded in Hebrew for Logue to let him know she was safe. Logue and Andrews had allegedly fled to different states under suspicion of murdering Abrahamsen after they were arrested for using Abrahamsen’s credit cards. The two had been released for lack of evidence connecting them to the murder.

Andrews, was arrested in Chattanooga, Tenn., July 15; he is being held there until he can be moved to Pasco County, Fla., Hamilton County Officials told Windy City Times. Logue is in custody in Pasco County awaiting trial.

As DJ Veritas, Andrews spun at bars in Boystown such as Scarlet and Circuit.
